What is your favorite lift/movement? My favorite movement is wall balls. What is your least favorite lift/movement? My least favorite movement is push ups. Have you achieved any of your goals that you started with? One of my goals when I started at CFV was to feel confident and look good on my wedding day in July, and I felt great - thanks to Bootcamp! What are your hobbies/interests? Some of my hobbies and interests include playing tennis, golfing, snowboarding, piano, and wine! What advice would you give to a newbie joining CFV? My advice to a newbie is to keep coming back. It's easy to give up after day one, especially after you feel the pain! What were your thoughts after your first CFV workout? After my first workout, I thought I had never felt that sore before in my life! I wasn't sure I would physically be able to get through a second workout two days later, but I did. You're in great company with other people that have been in the same place as you at one point, and they are so supportive that they start to become one of the reasons you come back.

Thanks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools.
