It is such a great opportunity to live and coach in an area where there are so many athletes with incredible abilities, experiences, and drive.
Sam Matthews led me to my first victory at the CrossFit Games! His quality of coaching and technique in various fitness domains provided more than a good foundation for improvement. Qualities that Sam exhibited while coaching me:
at Every Level.
After sustaining several injuries and not recovering as quickly as I had hoped, I chatted with Sam Mathews about personal training. Having had worked with trainers in the past, I was ready to start LIFTING; Sam had other plans. He focused on flexibility and mobility. He patiently had me work on form and balance. I saw results quickly- my injuries were being addressed and I was progressing in my program. I feel the best I have in over 18 months and I am lifting again. We continue to work on flexibility, mobility and balance -and now, we set significant and realistic goals with my endurance and weight training.
